How to Plan A Summer Party with The Big Smoke Events

Here are some step-by-steps to bring everyone together and plan an awesome Summer Party!

Lock in a Date and Time 

People have lives outside of work so working out a date that suits everyone is vital. Plan in advance so people can make plans around the party.  We always suggest booking your event during work hours for maximum attendance and to show your team that work/life balance is recognised and important! Maybe schedule it mid-week, so it doesn’t encroach on their weekend? Book it in with everyone and you can finalise all the other details later!

Embrace the Sunshine

The weather isn’t something we can always depend upon but we’d be silly to not mention how London hits differently in the sunshine! Grab your hats, sunscreen and bottle of water and fall back in love with your city. Get out the Office

Get your team out of their standard day-to-day environment and head out! Depending on your budget, you could have a picnic in the park or head to a venue (we have a wide range of venues we work with regularly – just ask us!). NB: Venues get booked up quick in the summer months so if you have a venue in mind, get booked in quick! 

Have an activity

This is the fun part, for all of us! Having an activity is an inclusive way of incorporating everyone on the team as the activity doesn’t revolve around drinks and a nice dinner.
