FAQS
Everything You Need to Know Before Game Day
Do you provide all the equipment?
Yes. We’ll bring all the equipment required for your Sports Day games, and our hosts will manage the event from start to finish.
How long does the Sports Day last?
The core Big Smoke Sports Day experience lasts approximately 90 minutes, including the opening ceremony, strategy session, Sabotage Trivia, games and awards.
Do you need to be sporty to take part?
Not at all. The experience is designed around team participation rather than athletic ability. Strategy, trivia, coordination and teamwork all play a role alongside the races.
What Office Olympics games are included?
Your event can feature Sports Day favourites such as egg and spoon, three-legged races, tug of war and relays, alongside team challenges and signature Big Smoke twists.
What are Sabotage Cards?
Before the games begin, teams compete in a trivia round for the chance to win special Sabotage Cards. These can then be played strategically during the competition to give rival teams an unexpected disadvantage.
Can you run Sports Day for large corporate groups?
Yes. The format can be scaled using multiple teams, event rotations and additional hosting support. Tell us your numbers and we’ll recommend the best setup.
Where can you run the event?
We can discuss suitable locations based on your group size and preferred area. If you already have a venue or outdoor space in mind, include it in your enquiry.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We’ll discuss weather contingencies and suitable alternatives with you during the planning process, based on your venue and event requirements.

Corporate Sports Day Games with a Big Smoke Twist
Our company sports day events are designed specifically for workplace teams. Over 90 action-packed minutes, colleagues go head-to-head in classic Sports Day favourites, including egg and spoon races, three-legged races, tug of war, relays and a selection of team challenges.
But this isn’t your average workplace sports day.
Teams kick things off with an Olympic-style opening ceremony before deciding their strategy and choosing competitors for the challenges ahead. Then comes our signature Sabotage Trivia Round, where teams compete to win special cards they can strategically deploy against their rivals during the games.
It’s a unique twist on traditional office olympics games, adding strategy, unpredictability and plenty of opportunities for office rivalries to come alive.
